Britain’s best takeaway is named - and it’s a fried chicken shop in Luton
Luton isn’t exactly famous as a tourist destination – but a family-run chicken shop in the Bedfordshire town has been crowned Britain’s best takeaway.
Chicken George was praised for using local ingredients – and giving free chicken to pensioners after bingo.
Chicken George triumphed over 26,000 eateries in the competition to take home a £6,000 prize.
