Britain’s Got Talent 2016: Jack Higgins’ Dance Teacher Is NOT Happy With The Judges

The dance teacher of Britain’s Got Talent star Jack Higgins has spoken out after his elimination from the live shows.

The young ballet performer was voted out of the talent contest on Tuesday night (May 24) in favour of Simon Cowell’s golden buzzer act Boogie Storm.

While Simon and Amanda voted for the novelty dance troupe, judges David and Alesha voted to save Jack, leaving the final result to the public vote.

However, viewers were left seething when the dancer didn’t receive enough of the public vote to be saved, with one person branding it the ‘biggest con ever.’

Another person who was not happy with the judges’ decision – Jack’s dance teacher, Grace Adams-Short - has called the ITV show a ‘farce.’

She explained: It’s supposed to be a talent show, but last night that wasn’t recognised and instead a bunch of men dancing mediocrely in Stormtrooper outfits were chosen over a boy with raw natural talent.

“I think people can see that Amanda just agrees with anything Simon does and in our case that proved costly as Simon was always going to stick with his Golden Buzzer act.

"They’re hardly going to vote against their Golden Buzzer act are they? They’d look like idiots if they did and I believe that’s why Jack was overshadowed.”

Grace, who appeared on Big Brother in 2002, revealed to The Mirror that David Walliams had comforted Jack after the live show.

The 30-year-old added: “Jack was gracious in defeat and was comforted by David who has been so supportive of him throughout the whole process.

"After the live show he even jokingly told Jack that he’d be helping to count the Wildcard votes and hoping that he wins it.”

That’s right, Jack’s future on BGT isn’t over yet; viewers can still pick a ‘wild card’ from all of the third-placed acts from each of the five semi-finals.
