Britain's Got Talent 2017 semi-final results: Two more acts confirmed for the final

Following on from Monday night’s first semi-final, two more acts have secured a place in live final of Britain’s Got Talent at the end of the week.

Eight-year-old magician Issy Simpson, who wowed judges with her impressive word tricks, burst into tears as the results were announced on stage.

She won the public vote in ITV contest’s second round of live semi-finals on Tuesday.

Ant and Dec’s golden buzzer act, Matt Edwards, sailed through to the final after placing second in the public vote for his unique comedy-magic act.

They join magical mind readers DNA and 15-year-old singer Kyle Tomlinson, who were the winners of the first semi-final.

Dancers Grace and Ali also made it to the top three on Tuesday night, but due to a change in the rules did not face the judges’ vote and missed their spot in the final this year.

One viewer said: “Gutted for Grace&Ali, loved their act and Grace just showed herself to be so lovely going straight over to chat with Issy.”

Meanwhile, Destiny Chukunyere, singer Harry Gardner, DJ Dizzy Twilight, singer Leah Barniville and tappers Taptastik were all knocked out of the competition.

The overall winner of Britain’s Got Talent 2017 gets a slot at the Royal Variety Performance later this year and a career-enhancing £250,000 prize.

The next live semi-final will air tonight at 7.30pm on ITV.
