Britain's Got Talent fans stunned as Peter Andre makes surprise finale appearance

Peter Andre made a shock appearance on the final of Britain's Got Talent. The 90s hitmaker made a cameo during magician act Trixy's performance tonight during the final of the ITV talent competition.

Trixy started by getting judge Simon Cowell to pick a number between 1 and 52. When he settled on 34, Trixy pulled out his mobile phone, reports the Mirror. The magician opened a list, featuring a musician next to each number.

Under the number Simon chose, it read Peter Andre and he was then asked to pick a card from a shuffled deck. Simon chose the four of diamonds. On the stage, was a large crowd with each person covering their face and holding a different card.

Trixy asked the person who was holding the judge's card to step forward. He was then unmasked to be the real Peter Andre, who Simon had already picked out at the start of the performance.

The panel were stunned as Peter stood on stage before them and did his classic Mysterious Girl dance with Trixy.

BGT returned for its 17th season earlier this year, as acts made their way through the competition to reach tonight's star-studded final.

Judges, Simon Cowell, Bruno Tonioli, Amanda Holden and Alesha Dixon have been giving their verdicts on acts from magicians to singers and dancers.

All week, acts have tried to secure their spot in tonight's final show as a semi-final took place every night this week. 10 acts made it through, which included singer Innocent Masuku, SSaulabi Performance Troupe, magician Jack Rhodes, dancers Haribow, singer Sydnie Christmas, musical impressionist Mike Woodhams, dancing duo Abigail and Afronitaaa, the Northants Sing Out choir, comedian Alex Mitchell and magician Trixy. There is also one more performer vying for the £250,000 prize - mystery wildcard The Trickstars.

Viewers have also been treated to a performance from the cast of Mamma Mia! The Musical, with the West End show currently featuring Mamma Mia! I Have A Dream winners Stevie Doc and Tobias Turley. The Britain's Got Talent winner is crowned by hosts Ant McPartlin and Declan Donnelly and wins the huge cash prize and a spot at the Royal Variety Performance, which takes place on November 22nd at the iconic Royal Albert Hall.
