Former Britain’s Got Talent winner Ashleigh Butler’s wholesome image may have gone to the dogs after she allegedly had a fling with her friend’s lover.

She found fame as one half of adorable dog training act ‘Ashleigh and Pudsey’ when they won the ITV talent show in 2012, and went on to present children’s TV shows and star in their own film.

Now it has been claimed Butler, 27, had an affair with fellow professional dog trainer Anthony Clarke, despite knowing he was in a long-term relationship with her friend Holly Farr, 39. Farr and Butler had become friends after being introduced by Clarke.

A source told The Sun newspaper: “Everyone thinks that Ashleigh is this squeaky clean, goody two-shoes.

“But Holly is absolutely devastated by this betrayal. It has turned into a huge mess.”

The source added: “Ashleigh was well aware she was stealing him from Holly. But in recent months they have been having a full-blown affair, carrying on together at shows.

“She broke the girl code, knowing full well he was with another woman — someone she was friends with. It is completely two-faced.”

Butler and Clarke, 27, were spotted together at a dog show near Leicester on Saturday.

The couple had reportedly been conducting their affair while meeting at dog training events in the UK and abroad. When Farr confronted Clarke he confessed and moved out.

Butler said at the time: "I had to make the hardest decision of my life to let my beautiful boy go to sleep at the age of 11.

"From the minute he was born he brought nothing but joy to me, and as a winner of BGT millions of others who adored him too.

"No words can express just how much I will miss him.

"He changed my life and I have so many wonderful memories of our time together. He will always be in my heart."
