Mowgli is currently celebrating a decade since launching on Liverpool's Bold Street. What started with pennies pulled together from the back of a couch has blossomed into the UK's first national Indian restaurant chain with more than 20 venues.
The business established the Mowgli Trust charity back in 2017 to help local communities and groups and has since raised more than £2m to support children’s hospices, hospices, cancer and hospital charities. To further give back to those in need, Nisha has turned to her ancestral home of Varanasi, India, with the hope of improving school girls' living standards and possibilities.
