British Tourist Dies In Hotel Fall In Tenerife

A British tourist has died after falling from the second floor of a hotel in Tenerife.

The 43-year-old man was pronounced dead at the scene in the southern town of Adeje at around 3am on Thursday.

The incident happened in a hotel complex on the Avenida Bruselas, according to Spanish newspaper Diario de Avisos.

The victim has not yet been named.

A Foreign Office spokeswoman told Sky News: "We are providing support to the family of a British national following their death in Tenerife on 21 January 2016."
