Britney’s fiancé responds after Octavia Spencer among fans urging her to ‘make him sign a prenup’

Britney Spears’ fiance Sam Asghari has responded after fans urged the superstar to get a prenup.

Oscar-winning actress Octavia Spencer was among well wishers telling Britney to “make him sign a prenup” after the pair announced their engagement on Instagram.

Spears, who recently celebrated a legal victory in the conservatorship that controls her life and career, shared a video of her wearing a diamond ring prompting an outpour of love and advice.

Spencer’s comment has so far earned more than 34,000 likes including a response from Asghari himself.

Writing in good jest, he said : “Thank you for everyone who is concerned about the prenup. Of course we’re getting iron clad prenup to protect my jeep and shoe collection in case she dumps me one day.”

Spears, 39, and personal trainer Asghari, 27, revealed their happy news on Sunday.

It will mark Spears’ third marriage after the hitmaker first said “I do” to her childhood friend Jason Alexander in 2004, with no prenup in place.

Later that year, she tied the knot with back-up dancer Kevin Federline who signed a 60 page prenuptial agreement.

In an Instagram post, Spears shared a video with Asghari and wrote: “I can’t f***ing believe it” followed by six ring emojis.

Fans reacted immediately, eager to look out for the pop treasure.

“Congrats. Get a prenup. We love you,” one person wrote.

“So happy for you mama but please make sure y’all sign that prenup,” another chimed.

“Wishing you the best. Please get a prenup,” a third person added.
