Britney Spears’ Childhood Home with Original Furniture and Dance Studio Lists for $1.2 Million — See Inside!
"We're selling a legacy," listing agent Yvonne Hulsey tells PEOPLE of the Louisiana property
Want a piece of Britney Spears' history? See inside her childhood home in Louisiana, officially on the market for a cool $1.2 million.
The 2,300-square-foot abode brings interested buyers back to the beginning of Spears’ career through preserved drawings, markings on the wall and the original dance studio that kickstarted her love of dance and music.
Located in rural Kentwood, the property features three bedrooms, three bathrooms and is spread out across 1.9 acres of land. Listing agent Yvonne Hulsey shares that some of the original furniture from when the Spears family lived there still remains in the home years after Britney’s dad, Jamie, sold it in 2021 for around $275,000.
Hulsey of Keller Williams Realty Services currently holds the listing.
“We’re selling a legacy — we’re selling Louisiana history. Pop history. We’re not selling square footage,” Hulsey tells PEOPLE.
“This is going to take a unique buyer. An investor,” she continues, adding that she’s “entertaining all offers” on the home. “Somebody that might want to turn the home into an Airbnb or a museum, or somebody who just wants to own a piece of music history.”
Looking inside the ranch-style abode, the eat-in kitchen features a unique island with stone detailing and a marble countertop. Wooden cabinetry and light stone tiles line the room’s walls, which opens up directly into the living area.
One of the bedrooms includes direct access through double doors into the outdoor space, which boasts an open patio looking out towards lush greenery.
Stickers are attached to the mirror in another bedroom, while “Brit rules” can be seen written in black marker on a cabinet in the other one.

The spacious dance studio equipped with multiple mirrors is perhaps the gem of the entire property.
Hulsey shares, “You’ll see the dance studio that Britney started in when she was two years old, and then she ended up teaching aerobics there at 12 years old. That’s pretty much where everything began.”
