Britney Spears requests conservator to replace her father

Britney Spears’ lawyer requests her father to be removed from her conservatorship. The petition filed on Monday comes a month after she called the arrangement “abusive”. In court papers, Mathew Rosengart, a new lawyer chosen by the singer has asked for accountant Jason Rubin to be conservator of her estate. The role is currently held by her father Jamie Spears, who he has held since 2008. Jodi Montgomery, Britney’s “conservator of the person” also supports the removal. The petition is scheduled to be heard on December 13th.
