Britney Spears has announced that she'll return to Las Vegas for her 'Domination' residency, causing fans everywhere to lose their minds.

The singer broke the news on The Ellen Show's YouTube channel on Thursday (October 18), revealing that the residency will start in February 2019 at the MGM Park Theatre.

Fans on the Vegas strip went ballistic as Britney, accompanied by fireworks, rose from the ground and the 'Domination' residency poster was projected onto the theatre's exterior.

However, Britney didn't say a single word, let alone perform for the scores of people who waited for her in the rain, making her probably the first person in history to announce something without actually announcing it.

"Only Britney would make an announcement without even talking," tweeted one fan.

Another tweeted: "Brit.. I love you... But next time.. At least make the announcement with your voice."

Britney didn't even stay long after the 'announcement', signing just a few autographs before being rushed away in a car. But nevertheless, that couldn't quash fans' excitement.

Back in August, Britney wowed 57,000 at Brighton Pride with her 'Piece of Me' show.

The popstar played the full-length version of the 'Piece of Me' concert that sold over 930,000 tickets in Las Vegas over a four-year residency, from timeless classics like 'Womanizer' and 'Oops!... I Did It Again' to bangers like 'Toxic' and 'Work Bitch'.
