Britney Spears is not following her sister Jamie Lynn Spears on Instagram in the latest sign of an ongoing family feud.

While the pop superstar seemingly cut ties with her younger sister on social media, Britney still appeared to be followed by Jamie Lynn as of Monday morning.

The rift became apparent in the final months of the star’s conservatorship, the complex legal arrangement by which most of Britney’s affairs were controlled by her father.

During the case, which eventually saw the conservatorship lifted, the 40-year-old singer was publicly critical of her sister and other members of the family.

The Toxic singer had referred to actress Jamie Lynn as her “so-called support system” after winning the case after 13 years.

In July, she criticised her sister for covering a remix of one of her songs at the 2017 Radio Disney Music Awards.

She said at the time: "I don't like that my sister showed up at an awards show and performed my songs to remixes!”

In a later-deleted post, the popstar called her sister a “mean a**” for not supporting her more in her fight against the conservatorship.

Britney still follows 46 people, including fiance Sam Ashgari, and notable people in the music industry including Sir Paul McCartney and Adele.

The star earlier this month opened up about how her conservatorship ordeal had left her feeling scared of people and showbiz.

She told fans: “Honestly my family embarrassed me and hurt me so deeply … so tooting my own horn and seeing my past accomplishments reflecting back at me actually helped.”
