Brits are all making same Storm Bert joke as freezing temperatures and snow hit the UK
Brits have been feeling the chill this week as snow blankets much of the UK.
The Met Office has issues a string of warnings for snow, ice, rain, and wind that could hit today (November 22) and last until Sunday (November 24).
It's also been revealed that a storm, named Bert, is set to sweep in on Saturday, bringing freezing temperatures and snow over the weekend. Wind gusts of up to 70mph have been predicted alongside heavy rain are in some areas as well as the potential of flooding and travel disruption.

However, instead of being worried about their heating bills and the upcoming freezing temperatures, many Brits can't help but see the funny side of the storm's name.
A lot of people said the couldn't help imagining Muppet character Bert from Sesame Street every time they hear the storm's name.
If you're not familiar, the golden yellow Muppet is one of the most iconic Sesame Street characters, known for his tuft of black hair, orange nose and stripey outfit. Bert and his roommate Ernie form a comic duo that is at the heart of the programme, with Bert acting as world weary, while Ernie is the troublemaker.
One person shared a gif of Bert's character on X, writing: "If #StormBert isn't followed in three storms time by Storm Ernie, I'm writing a letter." Someone replied: "Storm Cookie Monster, Storm Doctor Teeth, then Storm Ernie."
While someone else said: "Apologies all, but I had to do it," as they shared a picture of Bert inside the Met Office's weather map. A fellow social media fan replied: "Wish he was doing the forecast," while someone else said: "We need laughter in all the gloom - well done whoever you are."
A third chimed in: "An actual visual representation of Storm Bert in Ireland this weekend," as they showed Bert suffering outside in the storm with windswept locks and a battered umbrella.
Although much of the UK is expected to be affected by the storm, Scotland may be hit particularly hard as there is an amber warning for snow and ice in place in Scotland on Saturday, covering parts of Aberdeenshire, Argyll and Bute, Highland, Stirling, Perth and Kinross, as well as Angus. As much as 40cm of snow could fall on higher ground there, according to the Met Office.
