Brooklyn Beckham has skyrocketed to the top of everybody’s radar in recent years as an aspiring photographer, model and teen socialite, so it’s hard to believe that he only turned 18 yesterday.
The oldest of the Beckham children celebrated his big day by buying his first pint at a local pub whilst his family took to social media to wish Brook a happy birthday and share their favourite memories.
Dad David definitely wins when it comes to the sentiment stakes, calling Brooklyn his “best friend” as he shared a montage of childhood photos, captioned: “18 years of memories.”
The former footballer also shared a previously unseen photo of himself holding Brooklyn shortly after he was born, poignantly writing in the caption: “So on this day 18 years ago this little man came into our lives…. To say we felt blessed is an understatement.
“From day one he never slept through the night the only way he would fall asleep is when I took him out in the car and it had to be BoyZone on the radio and he would drop right off…. Thankfully he now sleeps the whole night without needing a song.
“Brooklyn has gone from this beautiful baby boy to become this handsome, polite and driven young man, I’m proud that he lived through my career with me and I’m even prouder about the person that he has become.
“Happy birthday Bust you can now officially take dad for a drink down the pub X”.
He rounded up he day with another throwback photo, writing: “Ok one last picture of the day…. To my best friend and my big boy Happy Birthday I’m proud of you… Love you Bust.”
Mum Victoria also melted hearts with a selection of throwbacks, gushing: “I can’t believe our baby is 18 today. We are all so proud and love you so much @brooklynbeckham x Happy Birthday Buster x Lots and lots of love.”
Brooklyn’s 14-year-old brother Romeo paid birthday tribute on his own Insta page, wishing his big bro a happy birthday and thanking him for always taking care of him.
Cruz, 12, shared a collage of childhood photos of Brooklyn, also wishing him a happy birthday.
To celebrate his special day, Brooklyn shared a photo of himself looking the spitting image of his famous dad as he sipped on his first legal pint of beer, also sharing a throwback childhood photo and a picture of himself blowing out the candles on his birthday cake.
All in all, it looks as though Brooklyn had a pretty fantastic birthday and we’re sure that his career will only get stronger over the next year.
