After two decades of pouring cold water on any comeback rumours, now it seems the time is finally right.

But wait! What about Craig Logan? The third member of the band once cruelly dubbed ‘Ken’ by Smash Hits, who sensationally quit in 1989 due to ‘illness’?

“The most memorable moments for me in Bros so far is Wembley Stadium and without question our final global tour,’ explained Matt. “Both of these experiences were just with Luke and myself. As the lead singer of the band, my musical connection has always been with Luke. Bros is Matt and Luke.”

Oh, OK. Sorry Ken.

“Bros has been part of my life for 30 years,” brother Luke added. “I’m deeply proud of it. Our biggest show was at Wembley Stadium, Bros Into Summer, it was just Matt and I so I feel comfortable saying with great pride that Matt and I are Bros.’

The duo had a string of 11 hits in the late ‘80s and early ‘90s, including the iconic When Will I Be Famous? Their debut album Push shot to the top of the charts in 20 countries.

Since the duo spluttered to an end in 1992, Luke has appeared in Hollywood movies like Blade 2 and Crossing Point. Matt has notched up five solo albums and a Las Vegas residency.

The comeback is even more of a shock since Matt actually denied the pair were getting back together during an appearance on the Lorraine show just a week ago.

“Bros is always surrounded by rumours,” he said at the time. “I think if it was going to happen it would come out of my mouth and my brother’s mouth.

“It’s something very dear to me and my brother. We’re perfectionists. Our last show was over 70,000 people at Wembley Stadium and we love the fact that was our last show.

“Unless we could do it if we knew in our hearts that it was going to be a spectacle, it wouldn’t happen.”

The duo will be back for a performance at the O2 Arena next August. No pressure then, boys.
