Brothers to close 'great addition' restaurant 'with a heavy heart'
Korean restaurant KaiBaiBo is to close due to "a mix of personal reasons and the ongoing challenges of rising costs." The venue's owners issued a statement today thanking customers for their patronage and confirmed the final trading date.
KaiBaiBo launched on Slater Street in Liverpool city centre in 2022, offering East Asian cuisine including ramen, bao and rice dishes. The restaurant is a joint venture from brothers Chris and Robin Turner.
Chris worked in restaurants across the North West while Robin taught English to children in South Korea. The pair opened a similar business in Warrington markets before moving to the city centre to flesh out the KaiBaiBo concept in 2022.
