Bruce Springsteen will host an hour-long radio show this afternoon, “selecting songs and sharing uplifting thoughts”.

The Boss will take over the airwaves on his SiriusXM channel E Street Radio from 3pm on April 8, available to stream online for free here.

“I am here to wish you well and to play you some songs that kind of work with the times that we’re living through,” Springsteen said in a promotional clip.

Fans can expect to hear music from the likes of Roy Orbison, Sam Cook, Don Henley, Lucinda Williams, Bob Dylan, Wyclef Jean and more throughout the 60 minutes.

In a bid to keep people in their homes, Springsteen last month released the full footage from his 2009 concert in Hyde Park, which opened with a cover of the Clash’s London Calling. Check it out below.

Springsteen also appeared alongside the likes of Jon Stewart and Danny DeVito for the launch of the New Jersey Pandemic Relief Fund, set up in response to the Covid-19 outbreak. Watch the video here.
