Brush Fire Prompts Evacuations in California's Thousand Oaks
Residents were forced to evacuate from their homes due to a 250-acre brush fire in Thousand Oaks, California, late on Thursday, January 14.
This footage, by the Ventura County Fire Department, shows a helicopter fighting the flames.
The Ventura County Sheriff’s Department evacuated residents in high risk areas, but the order was lifted at around 9 pm when the fire’s forward progress stopped.
