Bryan Cranston wants a Malcolm in the Middle Reunion

‘Malcolm in the Middle’ star Bryan Cranston would love a reunion.

Yes? No? Maybe?

Bryan Cranston is a little more certain when it comes to his thoughts on a ‘Malcolm in the Middle’ reunion… and he would apparently love to return.

“I sure hope so,” Cranston told E! Online about the possibility of a reunion. “I really do, for no other reason than that I miss those people like crazy and I stay in touch with them. The boys are doing great and Jane [Kaczmarek] is doing wonderfully and I’d love to.”

It’s been 10 years since ‘Malcolm in the Middle’ last appeared on our screens… and it would certainly be interesting to see how the last decade has treated the Wilkersons.

‘Malcolm in the Middle’ starred Frankie Muniz as Malcolm – a more-or-less normal boy who is moved to a class for gifted children after testing a genius-level intellect.

But the show tends to focus on Malcom’s home life, including his often-strained relationship with his brothers, Dewey (played by Erik Per Sullivan), Reese (Justin Berfield), and Francis (Christopher Masterson).

Airing between 2002 and 2006, the show was an instant hit.

But could a reunion really happen?

Bryan Cranston hints that there’s a possibility that there may be talks…

“There’s a possibility we want to start talking about the possibility of putting together a story that makes sense about that family 10 years or 12 years later,” he said. And that could mean a potential new series in just a couple of years’ time.

That is, if those talks progress beyond talks about talks.

But would the rest of the ‘Malcolm in the Middle’ cast consider returning?

Back last year, Frankie Muniz expressed interest in seeing the show return, retweeting an MTV article suggesting a reboot should definitely happen. “How fun would ‘Malcolm In The Mid-life Crisis’ be?” he said. “I wonder what Malcolm and his family would be up to now!“

Would the rest of the cast be interested? For now, we’ll have to wait and see.

But would love to see their anarchic antics back on TV.
