Bryant Park Fountain Freezes After New York City's Coldest Day Since 2019

Frigid temperatures froze water at the Josephine Shaw Lowell Memorial Fountain in Manhattan’s Bryant Park on Wednesday, January 12, creating icicles that hung off the structure.

This footage filmed by Devin Toth shows the spectacle, one day after January 11, which the National Weather Service (NWS) said was the coldest day in the city since 2019.
