Bubbling Lava Rises Over Hawaii's Leilani Estates

The Hawaii National Guard escorted members of the media into Leilani Estates on Saturday, May 26 to witness the lava flows that have destroyed scores of homes in the Big Island community.

According to Hawaii Tribune Herald, lava has destroyed 41 homes and covered over 2,200 acres of land since the Kilauea volcano erupted on May 3
