Buckingham Palace Lit Up as Crowd Sings National Anthem

Buckingham Palace was lit up in the colors of the Union Jack as crowds at the star-studded Platinum Party at the Palace concert sang God Save the Queen on June 4.

Footage recorded by Ross Malyon shows the performance in central London on Saturday night.

The Platinum Party at the Palace concert featured performances by Diana Ross, Rod Stewart, Duran Duran, and many other artists, as well as speeches by the Duke of Cambridge and the Prince of Wales.

Queen Elizabeth was not in attendance, but a statement from Buckingham Palace said: “She was very keen that people understood how much it meant to her and that all those watching had a great time.” Credit: Ross Malyon via Storyful
