Buddhist statue displays V-sign due to weathering in central China

A Buddhist statue at Longmen Grottoes, central China, now displays a V-sign hand gesture due to weathering. The funny video was captured in the city of Luoyang in Henan Province on April 8. The 1,000-year-old Buddhist statue was originally holding up three fingers but the thumb has been lost due to weathering. The V-sign Buddhist statue went viral after a tourist posted a picture of it in 2014. It attracted lots of tourists to visit and take pictures with the same posture in front of it. The video was provided by local media with permission.
