Every Buffy the Vampire Slayer fan has their choice of the perfect man for the titular heroine. The correct answer is Riley, of course, but it's Angel who is the one making his back into her life in an upcoming reboot miniseries.

For context, Boom! Studios (the people behind the amazing Power Rangers comic books for the last few years) have been running both Buffy and Angel comics, and now they are bringing them together.

As announced by The Hollywood Reporter, a five-part series called Hellmouth will follow on from recent issues of both series and feature the Hellmouth opening up and threatening to swallow the whole of Sunnydale.

The rebooted comics feature the same characters, but the stories have been taking a different turn to what you are used to from the TV shows. For example, Xander is a vampire. And Angel may be either a friend or foe to Buffy...

That's not the only reboot the franchise is having, as a TV revival was revealed to be in the works at 20th Century Fox (which is now owned by Disney, of course...). You can find out everything you need to know about that right here.
