Michelle Trachtenberg has updated her statement on the accusations againstBuffy the Vampire Slayer creator Joss Whedon, adding a claim that he was not allowed to be alone with her on set.

On Wednesday (10 February), Buffy actor Charisma Carpenter accused Whedon of “abusing his power” on the show, calling her “fat” during her pregnancy and “unceremoniously firing” her from spin-off series Angel after she gave birth.

Several of Carpenter’s co-stars, including Sarah Michelle Gellar (Buffy) and Trachtenberg, who played Buffy’s little sister Dawn, showed support for Carpenter. Trachtenberg also condemned Whedon’s “not appropriate behaviour” while they worked together.

Updating her Instagram post, Gossip Girl star Trachtenberg wrote: “The last. Comment I will make on this. Was. There was a rule. Saying. He’s not allowed in a room alone with Michelle again.”

Whedon has not yet commented on the allegations. The Independent has contacted his representative.

The Buffy cast’s comments come months after Ray Fisher – who worked with Whedon on Justice League accused the director of “gross and “abusive” behaviour on set.
