Buffy the Vampire Slayer icon Sarah Michelle Gellar got her wedding anniversary date mixed up.
Married to fellow Scooby Doo star Freddie Prinze Jr since 2002, she made light of the blunder on Instagram this week next to a shot of them at the original ceremony.
"Today, on our 19th wedding anniversary, I would like to take this opportunity to thank @goodmorningamerica and @usweekly for alerting my #momsquad that it was indeed our anniversary, and in turn thank my #momsquad for alerting me, as I honestly thought it was tomorrow," she wrote.
"Happy anniversary @realfreddieprinze today, tomorrow and any day after that I think might be our anniversary in the future."
In the comment section, her husband was unmoved by their apparent mistake, replying: "I'm sticking with tomorrow. I don't care what they said."
Elsewhere, several years ago, Gellar got around to revealing her least-favourite Buffy season.
"I've always said that season 6 was not my favourite. I felt it betrayed who she was. Even just getting to talk to Joss [Whedon, creator] and be able to get his opinion was not as easy when he's not upstairs.
"He had three shows. He had Angel and Firefly so that was hard. But he made sure to dedicate the time to season 7 and that was his promise to me: that we would right all the wrongs and he kept that promise," she continued.
On the contrary, Whedon himself felt totally different about that particular stretch of episodes, explaining: "I love season 6. Marti [Noxon, screenwriter] and I wanted to talk about an unhealthy relationship. It wasn't just that she was with someone dark – she found the darkness within herself. This has to do with the consequences of power."
