Building on fire in Lincoln as people told to keep windows and doors shut
People living near an area in Lincoln have been told to keep their windows and doors shut after a building has caught fire. A 'large volume of smoke' has filled the skies in the residential area, prompting a warning from the fire service.
Fire crews are currently tackling the blaze, which happened this afternoon (Saturday, October 26). It is not yet known what caused the fire, which happened on Spa Road in Lincoln.
In an update, Lincolnshire Fire and Rescue said: "We have crews in attendance at a building fire on Spa Road, Lincoln.

"Nearby residents are advised to keep doors and windows closed due to a large volume of smoke in the area."
