Bulgari Hosted a Golden-Hour Fête in Brooklyn
The hottest ticket in town last night was a party celebrating the launch of the new Bulgari Tubogas jewelry collection, including 16 new, never-before-seen pieces. The Italian jewelry house took over The Refinery in the historic Domino Sugar Factory building in Brooklyn. Coincidentally, both Bulgari and this venue are celebrating their 140th anniversary this year.
Arriving during the golden hour, guests were immersed in the evolution of Tubogas—from a simple, flexible gold stripe, to an iconic jewelry collection. Multi-disciplinary artists interpreted the designs, each through their own unique lenses. The display included a digital campaign created Antoni Tudisco, a kinetic light sculpture titled “THE WAVE,” signed by light artist and designer Christopher Bauder and his team at studio WHITEvoid, and a dance performance directed by friend of the house and principal ballerina Isabella Boylston.
Admiring all of the art and one-of-a-kind Tubogas pieces while listening to the music of Jamaican-American vocalist, multi-instrumentalist and producer Masego made the sunset over the city even more unforgettable. The party continued late into the night with guests like Naomi Campbell, Dakota Johnson, Olivia Culpo and Kelly Wearstler decked out in Bulgari baubles, taking in the sounds of DJs Nancy Whang of LCD Soundsystem and Myles Hendrik.
Catch a glimpse of these spectacular pieces as the Bulgari Studio takes up residence in the house’s Fifth Avenue flagship boutique with a dedicated installation and select Bulgari Tubogas jewelry creations on display.
