Burning Man Attendee Who Ran Through Massive Dust Devil Says It Was 'Not Fun'

A massive dust devil spun extremely close to Burning Man attendees in Black Rock City, Nevada, video recorded on September 2 shows.

Footage recorded by Robert June shows a Burning Man attendee walking toward a large cyclone of dust as it spins near an RV campsite at the event.

Before filming the video, June said he ran through the dust devil as he figured it wasn’t too dangerous since it had not picked up any debris in the open desert.

“I could barely stand and couldn’t even see my feet,” June told Storyful. “Getting hit in the face with dust at high speeds is not fun.”
