Burst water main leaves Cambridgeshire road closed
A burst water main in Trumpington has left a road closed for more than three hours. The incident near Paget Road was reported to Cambridge Water at midday on Tuesday (November 26).
Paget Road was shut and the water was turned off by Cambridge Water, to allow engineers to carry out repair work. The incident also prevented Stagecoach East buses from stopping at Mill Road.
A Stagecoach East spokesperson said at 1.15pm: "Due to a Burst Water main, we are unable to serve Mill Road from 2pm today until further notice. This will include Brookfields.
