A widely used Merseyside bus route has been diverted until Monday December 2. Due to anti-social behaviour in the Page Moss area, service 10A, which connects Liverpool and St Helens, will not serve part of East Prescot Road/Liverpool Road between Pilch Lane and Longview Lane.

For those riding from Liverpool to St Helens, this means that after Alder Hey, the 10A will turn right at the roundabout (third exit) onto Pilch Lane. Then, at the second set of lights (Pilch Lane News), it will turn left and then turn the first right into Western Avenue, continuing onto Rupert Road.

At the end of the road, the bus will turn left onto Huyton Lane, passing through Huyton Centre. At traffic lights (after Asda roundabout), it turns left into Longview Lane, turning right at the end of the road to resume route on Liverpool Road.

Those travelling to Liverpool will return to Liverpool via the reverse of this route. Stagecoach has apologised for any inconvenience the diversion may cause.
