Busted announce their second tour since reuniting

Last year, Busted made our dreams came true when they announced that Charlie Simpson had rejoined the band after sensationally quitting back in 2005.

They quickly went on a national tour, performing their much-loved hits of over a decade ago, but now that their new album is due for release they have announced their second tour since reuniting, complete with brand new material to perform.

Charlie Simpson, Matt Willis and James Bourne have announced 21 dates across the UK and Ireland for early 2017 following the release of their ‘Night Driver’ LP, with the trio promising their “most intimate” gigs yet.

Since returning to the spotlight, Busted have revamped their musical style and James teased earlier this year that their new album will be unlike anything they have released before.

He said: “The last thing we wanted to do was try to recreate what we used to have.

“It belongs to that time. All real artists evolve, all real artists try things, it’s unnatural not to.”

Charlie added: “On this record, we’re older, we’ve had completely different experiences than what we’d have been talking about ten years ago. It’s an authentic reflection of who we are today.”

The record is a follow up to their 2003 album ‘A Present For Everyone’ and due for release on the 11th of November.
