You can buy a small slice of Wolverhampton for just £100 that's inbetween people's back gardens
An unusual collection of land is going up for auction in Wolverhampton. Eight small parcels of land are being auctioned off in the Oxley area of the city.
The parcels of land are located at the rear of people's homes along the A449 Stafford Road. An aerial map appears to show these plots of land are situated within people's back gardens - but this is not the case. Some of them are located between gardens which back onto one another.
Five of the parcels of land are located north of Goodyear Island and Mercury Drive, while three are located below it. Google Earth appears to show some of the plots sectioned off with fencing.

The whole listing comes with a guide price of just £100 and the land is freehold. It could prove interesting to local homeowners and developers alike.
Each parcel of land is described as being "broadly rectangular" in shape, according to an advert for the listing. A spokesperson for Auction Estates Limited, which is selling off the land, said little parcels of land are sometimes left over from large scale developments carried out by housebuilders.

The advert for the listing on Rightmove said: "Seller doesn't occupy the property and has little knowledge of it. The property is sold subject to all rights whatsoever affecting it, including any rights of third parties to occupation or possession or claims to ownership of any of it."
