If you're in need of a pick-me-up on this dreary Monday morning, we come bearing roses – Cadbury's Roses.

They might look a little different though – that's because the chocolate makers have unveiled a swish new flower-shaped Roses box accompanied by a "Just to say" message, which is designed as a thank-you gift for someone.

It was unveiled for World Gratitude Day last week (September 21).

The new boxes weigh 275g, marking a stark departure from the 321g/350g boxes we've all grown to love and cherish. (They're still on the market though, don't panic!)

In terms of the actual chocolates, the new flower boxes will contain faves such as Strawberry Dream and nutty Hazel, and the whole thing will sell at £4.50.

"We're really excited to bring this new Cadbury Roses pack into stores and we can't wait to see the reaction from our fans," said Suzy Fish, Senior Brand Manager for Cadbury.

"We know there is a longstanding history of people sharing Cadbury Roses to say thank you, and we think this flower box makes that even more special, after all, saying thank you feels great."

Cadbury shook up the world of chocolate last year, after switching its wrappers from the twisty ones we all loved to the "flow wraps" that require actually tearing them open.

Not only that, but it changed the shape of some chocolates, including the much-loved hazel in caramel, which went from a longer shape to a more refined square.

The new box is available now, though the classic one is still available – so no need to start World War III just yet.
