New cafe and shop set to open at Glasgow's Princes Square
A charity cafe and shop are set to open in Glasgow's Princes Square.
Local charity, Lunch Coffee, and The Whiskey Shop, the largest specialist retailer of whiskey in the UK, have both signed 10 year leases at the Buchanan Street shopping centre, with both expecting to open in the coming weeks.
Launch Coffee was founded in 2018, the charity has provided 750,000 free meals to local children with all profits used to help reduce child poverty in Glasgow. The new cafe will provide 12 new jobs at the shopping centre and sells a range of delicious baked goods.

It comes after the centre announced a new restaurant and shop Zibibbo will also be opening up. Owned by Andy and Emma MacSween, the all day dining experience will also open its doors in December.
Craig Johnson, founder of Launch Coffee said: "We are delighted to be opening our second coffee shop in such beautiful shopping centre and being part of such a vibrant community of retailers is exciting.
“We hope our new customers relate well to our efforts helping children in our city and enjoy our home baked products where 100% of our profits fund our mission of ensuring no child in the city goes to bed hungry.”
