She’s opened up about her celebrity family and her recent past transitioning from a man to a woman but she’s also made some revelations about what the future holds in store for her.

The 67-year-old star said her interest in politics has surged since she became an advocator for the LGBT community and she revealed that she would, in fact, run for president at some point in the future.

She admitted to Victoria that Donald Trump had let her and the trans community down, adding: “I’ve always been on the republican side. But I think the people of our country are going to make the country strong. Trump was our candidate so obviously I was going to vote that way. But I’m not a big supporter of Donald Trump.

“I talked to him. He spoke about the LGBT community. He did a lot of good things, he hires a lot of gay people in the LGBT community and so I thought he would be OK, for a republican, maybe he can make some changes. But he came in, and I think he has been influenced by a lot of people around him.

“Obama had put into place an equality thing when the whole bathroom issue came up, and he rescinded that, which really upset me.”

And the ‘Keeping Up With The Kardashians’ star – who was known as Bruce Jenner before her surgery to become a woman – promised to keep an eye on Trump.

“For my community, I’ve got to keep a close eye on this guy,” she vowed.

Victoria then asked: “Would you go into politics?”

“I do a lot but it’s mostly behind the scenes. I have been asked that question quite a bit, to be honest with you – over the next year I’m looking into it” she said, adding “I want to know where can I do a better job for my community, in bringing the republican party around when it comes to all LGBT issues.”

But the presenter brought it back to the big question and said: “But could you see yourself as president?”

“Yes! Well I was thinking of starting as maybe the Mayor of Malibu and slowly work my way up.”
