Caitlyn Jenner has revealed shocking sun damage in an Instagram photo.

The 68-year-old shared a picture on social media displaying a large patch of raw skin on the end of her nose.

She captioned the image: “I recently had to get some sun damage removed from my nose.

“PSA [Public Service Announcement] - always wear your sunblock!”

It is assumed that Jenner had treatment on basal cell carcinoma, which is a common type of skin cancer.

The star is among others to have spoken out publicly about the effects of not being protected in the sun.

Hugh Jackman previously documented his experiences of being treated for skin cancer on several occasions.

He took to social media to speak out about the importance of sun protection.

In 2017, the Wolverine star posted a picture on social media of his nose bandaged up.

It read: “Another basal cell carcinoma,” Jackman tweeted in 2017, posting a selfie on social media with a dressing over his nose.

“Thanks to frequent checks and amazing doctors, all’s well.”

“Looks worse w the dressing on then off! WEARSUNSCREEN.”
