Caldor Fire Smoke Creates Orange Sky in Western Nevada

The Caldor Fire grew to 204,390 acres (about 319 square miles) in northeastern California on September 1, forcing evacuations in California’s El Dorado, Amador, and Alpine counties and Nevada’s Douglas County, according to officials.
