California Firefighters Rescue Woman Trapped in Flipped Vehicle Atop Drainage Ditch

Firefighters rescued a woman trapped in a vehicle on a California interstate during the early hours of Monday, March 20, according to authorities.

A post on the Orange County Fire Authority Twitter page said the woman’s car was “pinned against a power pole and balancing on top of a drainage ditch” on Interstate 405 in Irvine, California.

After firefighters stabilized the car, they extracted the woman from the vehicle. She was quickly treated and transported to a local trauma center, according to the post.
