Californian Man Films Incredible Close Encounter With Orcas

A man filmed his close encounter with a trio of orcas while out kayaking off the coastal bluffs of Timber Cove, California, in search of rockfish and lingcod with a friend on November 28.

This footage, shot by Tyler Jackson, shows the killer whales gliding through the water around his kayak, surfacing at times only to dive back down into the Pacific depths.

Jackson told Storyful it “was an adrenaline-filled experience that energized the soul seeing such beautiful and majestic creatures up close!”
