California's Hungry Fire Grows in Los Angles County

A new wildfire burning in Gorman, Los Angeles County, grew to 340 acres on Saturday July 31, according to fire authorities.

Footage captured by an ALERTWildfire camera in Gorman shows smoke rising from the so-called Hungry fire.

As of Saturday evening, the fire was 30 percent contained, according to the Los Angeles County Fire Department. The fire’s forward progress had been halted, the department said.
