Call 999 plea as Kent Police launch search for local man

Kent Police have launched a search for a missing local man. The public has been told to call 999 if they see Matthew Evans or know of his whereabouts.

Officers are appealing for information to help find the missing man from Folkestone. Matthew was last seen in the Hawkinge area at around 11am on Thursday, January. Police say they are concerned for his welfare.

The 55 year old is described as approximately 6ft, has a large build and tattoos on his forearms. He is believed to be wearing navy blue or black jogging bottoms and a thick grey woollen jumper.

Anyone with information regarding Matthew’s whereabouts has been told to call Kent Police on 999 quoting 23-0415.
