Call The Midwife series eight followed Nurse Lucille Anderson (Leonie Elliott) as she met and grew closer with mechanic Cyril Robinson (Zephryn Taitte).

Despite Cyril being absent from the first couple of season nine episodes, he's back and fans are thrilled to have some romance on the cards again at Nonnatus House.

Episode three saw Cyril and Lucille trying their best to make time for each other, despite busy schedules due to Lucille's demanding midwifery role and Cyril's ambitions to be a preacher at church.

Viewers were mainly just thrilled to see Cyril back on the scene.

They also took to social media to voice how much they enjoy seeing romance really blossom between him and Lucille.

However it's not just Lucille spending time with Cyril. When she's been tied up at work he's been waiting for her at Nonnatus House, hosted by Sister Monica Joan (Judy Parfitt) and viewers are loving the duo's friendship which is growing as they sit down to watch TV together.

Elsewhere in the episode, Lucille delivered a baby in a lift, Nurse Crane supported an unwell woman with no one else to help her and Trixie turned heads at the charity fashion show.

We're sure we'll be seeing more of Lucille, Cyril and of course Sister Monica Joan when Call The Midwife continues Sunday at 8pm on BBC One.
