Cambridge building fire sees emergency services called to Station Square
A building fire in Cambridge saw firefighters called to Station Square on Wednesday (November 13). Station Road was closed while the emergency services attended.
Around nine fire engines were at the scene and a cordon was in place. Police officers also attended and buses were stopped.
A Cambridgeshire Fire and Rescue Service spokesperson said: "At 9.17am crews were called to a building fire on Station Square in Cambridge. Firefighters have searched the building and found a fire that was out on arrival.

"The cause of the fire was accidental. Station Road has now reopened." The road reopened at around 10.45am.
