But, with so many options, we want to make the process even more stress-free and recommend the best venues for a delicious meal.
Brunch is such a versatile treat and we know everyone's taste is different, so that's why we've asked you to vote for which Cambs spot you think is the undisputed brunch champion. From French toast to poached eggs and maple glazed bacon, these extravagant dishes will leave you wanting seconds.

3. Stir, Cambridge
Address: 253 Chesterton Rd, Cambridge CB4 1BG
Opening times: Monday to Friday 8am to 4pm and Saturday & Sunday 9am to 4pm
Just missing up on top spot, the runners up prize goes to Stir in Cambridge City Centre. The award-winning Cambridge bakery is an independent and locally owned space serving coffee, seasonal brunches and takeaway lunches.
The small chain has five locations across the county, but can be traced back to its original cafe site on Chesterton Road. All of its delicious bread, pastries, cakes and treats are handcrafted using traditional artisanal standards and methods.
Its extensive range of brunch options differs slightly depending on location and season, but includes favourites such as Halloumi 'Shrooms, Huevos Rancheros, Poached eggs and chilli jam and Stir's Big Brunch.
2. The Orchard Tea Garden
Address: 47 Mill Way, Grantchester, Cambridge CB3 9ND
Opening times: Monday to Friday 10am to 4pm and Saturday & Sunday 10am to 5pm.
Found in the quaint village of Grantchester beside the River Cam, The Orchard Tea Garden is well known for a host of famous customers, including poets and literary elites. You can sit outside in the vast green orchard and soak up the sun on a summer's day over a hearty brunch or huddle in its old pavilion with a pot of steaming tea come winter.
Its brunch menu is made up of brioche French toast with blueberry compote and lemon drizzle, maple glazed bacon and poached egg, home cured salmon gravlax on rye bread and avocado toast and poached egg. If you're feeling fancy, The Orchard also offers an afternoon tea session with an assortment of sausage rolls, sandwiches, mini cakes and freshly baked scones for £36 per person.
1. Flock Cafe, Barton

Opening times: 10am to 4pm all week
Taking the top spot, you can find this independent cafe just outside of Cambridge in Barton. The popular venue sits in Burwash Manor- a collection of independent and unique shops within two courtyards of converted farm buildings.
Flock Cafe prides itself on its fresh food, made using seasonal ingredients sourced from local suppliers. Options on the menu include caramelised French toast, Turkish eggs, grilled asparagus, poached egg on sourdough and smashed avocado on toast. Each item is also customisable and can include smoked bacon, salmon, avocado or poached egg as extras.
The menu also states that most dishes can be made gluten-free and vegan at request. The picture-perfect cafe is open rain or shine, with its rustic charm shining through and making it obvious why it was voted the very best by our readers.
