Cambuslang store locked down by police as officers standby amid ongoing incident
A convenience store in Cambuslang has been cordoned off by police amid an ongoing incident.
A Usave store on Glebe Street in Cambuslang has been locked down by police this evening, November 9, with officers seen standing guard at around 7pm.
The reason behind the emergency response is currently unknown.
One local resident said he was left "shocked" after spotting police tape around the shop, claiming that CID officers were questioning passersby.

The concerned resident said: "On the way home from work I noticed that my local shop had been taped off, a neighbour told me she heard sirens and a big commotion not long before I passed. CID were outside the shop talking to onlookers. As a local resident this absolutely shocked me".
In images shared with Glasgow Live, police tape can be seen around the store as one officers stands by.
Police Scotland has been approached for comment.
