An award-winning takeaway in Glasgow has been delighted by the response to their latest creation.

Cambuslang’s Asian Tandoori are known for their epic creations but say their latest might be one of their most popular yet. Jameel Ahmed and his team say their new chasni donner twist quickly went viral after they posted a TikTok about it, asking fans to guess what it was.

Having created the mouthwatering meat dish for themselves at their takeaway on Cambuslang Main Street, they revealed they loved it and couldn't wait to share it with their customers.

Keeping the exact recipe under wraps, Jameel explained it's not spicy but still full of flavour and more sweet and spicy.

He said the response to it has been "mental" adding: "We’re selling it every single day as people keep wanting to try it. Normally when we do things like this, it will be busy and sell for a week or two and then quieten down. It's been so popular that we are offering it on Just Eat and people can try it out on a pizza, hoagie or even our famous 10 inch ultimate box."

The eatery, which was named Takeaway of the Year at the Scottish Curry Awards earlier this year, is known for its innovative creations and Jameel said this one will be available as long as people want to try it.

He also revealed they are always trying to keep things fresh by offering new takes on their cuisine and revealed that they will have more fun things on the way in the near future.
