CAMDEN, Maine (AP) _ Camden National Corp. (CAC) on Tuesday reported fourth-quarter net income of $14 million, after reporting a loss in the same period a year earlier.

The bank, based in Camden, Maine, said it had earnings of 89 cents per share.

The bank posted revenue of $49.9 million in the period. Its revenue net of interest expense was $41.1 million, topping Street forecasts.

For the year, the company reported profit of $53.1 million, or $3.39 per share. Revenue was reported as $158.6 million.

Camden National shares have climbed 9 percent since the beginning of the year. The stock has fallen 7 percent in the last 12 months.
