Liverpool DJs CamelPhat have added an extra date to their new 'EXPERIENCE' concept due to popular demand. Last year the artists revealed plans to host an immersive 'experience' that they promised would transform a clubbing warehouse into a 'multi-sensory playground'.

Described as "a trip for the senses, a fusion of colour, cutting-edge sound and visual creation", the show launches Easter weekend at Blackstone Warehouse. A preview of the show, shared by dance brand Cream, says EXPERIENCE will be "the future of clubbing".

Following the show's announcement, tickets for the Easter Sunday event have sold out. A second date has now been added for Saturday, April 19. The show kicks off at 2pm and lasts until 11pm, with last entry at 4:30pm. Challenge 21 will be in operation and a valid photo ID will be required.

CamelPhat is made up of Dave Whelan and Mike Di Scala - friends who met at the old 3b Record shop in Liverpool in 2006. In recent years the pair’s popularity has skyrocketed, with their 2017 hit Cola becoming a UK number one.

After this, Dave and Mike have taken their music around the world from Ibiza to Las Vegas, with gigs in Liverpool becoming few and far between. They made their comeback to their home city with a performance at On The Waterfront on the Pier Head last year.

This year's On The Waterfront festival will feature performers including The Wombats, who will headline the event for their biggest ever hometown show. On The Waterfront festival will take place from Thursday, June 19 until Sunday, June 22, 2025 on Liverpool's famous Pier Head.

The Wombats met as teenagers whilst studying at Liverpool Institute of Performing Art and emerged as leading lights of the late ‘00’s indie rock scene, with 2007 debut A Guide to Love, Loss and Desperation featuring hit singles Let’s Dance to Joy Division, Moving to New York and Kill the Director’. Their 2011 second album This Modern Glitch established them as Top 10 chart regulars, whilst 2015’s Glitterbug connected with a new generation of fans, especially through TikTok where Greek Tragedy became a viral hit.

By 2018, with the release of Beautiful People Will Ruin Your Life, The Wombats were soon playing arenas and in 2022 scored their first Number 1 album Fix Yourself, Not the world. Despite their two-decade long career, their music continues to resonate with both loyal and younger audiences, proving their staying power.

Fans don’t have long to wait for their next fix, after a two year wait, their sixth album Oh! The Ocean is set for release on February 21, 2025 followed by a UK arena tour culminating in Liverpool for their biggest homecoming show to date.

Joining the bill are Pale Waves, Sawyer Hill with more acts still to be announced. Commenting on their return, the band's drummer Dan Haggis said: “We’re so excited to announce that we’re playing a huge hometown show, back where it all began, on June 19, 2025. The Mersey and Liver Buildings will provide the backdrop, we’ll provide the tunes. It’s going to be a special night full of new music from our upcoming sixth album and of course a load of old bangers… so grab yourself a ticket, polish up those dancing shoes and we’ll see you there!"
