Back in 2010, the Ant-Man actor and Diandra Luker - pictured below - attended New York Federal Court and watched as their son was sentenced to five years in jail for possession of methamphetamines with the intent to distribute.

And Cameron’s situation worsened when he confessed to smuggling drugs into prison and was locked up in solitary confinement for a further two years at Maryland’s Cumberland Federal Corrections Institute.

Upon his release, he was ordered to live in a halfway house in Brooklyn and is not allowed to use a smartphone or tablet and can only access computers for job searches.

He’s also only being allowed to leave for 12 hours a day and is breathalysed when he returns to the hostel.

Meanwhile, a fellow resident in his new home, Kenny, praised his efforts to turn his life around.

He said: “He’s a cool dude. Respectful, you know? You don’t talk about jail. You try to put it in the back of your mind so you don’t go back there . . . I think he’s on the road to recovery. He’s trying to take a different path.”
